I'm new at this. On day 9 the water container dry out for 5 days in my home made incubator. I was so busy all week that didn't notice. I don't know if that will cause a problem. Will the chick make it?

Too low humidity won't immediately kill them, but it can impact them when they try to hatch. If your humidity is too low throughout incubation, then the eggs will lose too much moisture and the chicks will be shrinkwrapped and unable to hatch. Too high, and they will drown in the shell.

Day 9 through day 15 the water was dry so no humidity 6 days like that. Afterwards it was 50% and now is at 70% day 21 I water candle it as soon as I noticed no water for humidity and it did wiggle. This is my first time and I have learned a lot in this very interesting site. Very helpful! thanks for your response!

Ive had mine at 65 % humidity through out .... they due to hatch tomorrow .... just had a look now ...2 eggs have pipped and I SEE MOVEMENT ...haha!! Just drilled a third hole in the side ... worried about oxygen levels ...got just over 230 eggs in there ... and they all gotta breath!
