ive got 3 in lock down and cant get the humidity higher then 41.ive got a still air styrofoam(spell?) all 3 wells are full,2 wet sponges and a small container filled with water.im using a brand new therm. w/a hygrometer w/ a new battery.temps are staying between 101 and 102.any ideas?
thanks for any advice

I agree, sounds like your hygrometer is bad.

not sure thats the only hygrometer ive got.id love to keep the eggs in here but do you think i should put them under my broody hen? shes sitting on 3 that hatch the same time as these.

Looked it up. Where you are the humidity is 55% today. Heated to 100 degrees that should put the incubator at about 25% to 30% with no water in the incubator. The amount of water you have should have it up above 60%. An becouse you dont have condensation you know it is not above 80%. So an educated guess makes me think you are ok. But thats far from being sure.
