Why can't you candle them? Do you not know how or do you not have a bright enough light? There are plenty of threads on here explaining candling and what to look for. You do need a good bright light, I have brown and green eggs and have found the light on the flash on my Droid Maxx phone to be superior to any flashlight I own. It seems you need the brightest led light available to get the best results

You are looking for development inside the egg, you need to wait until at least day 7 to see much. I am not an expert at it yet but I am learning as I go. It is easy to see eggs that aren't fertile, because they look the same as an egg that hasn't been incubated, bright and clear inside, if they still look like that at 7 days they won't likely produce anything. Here is a good thread with candling pics and explanations, note the size of the air cell and certain days of progression:

There are other threads on candling as well if you look around, like I said you sort of have to do it a few times to get the hang of it, I am still learning all this stuff myself.

How long have your eggs been in the incubator? If it hasn't been at least 7 days I wouldn't bother especially if they are colored shells you won't see much before then, also be as gently as you can with them or you could damage any growing embryos, you don't want to over do it either, I would do it at day 7 to 10 then again at day 18 then don't mess with them until hatch time.
