Hunched up duck.

Sounds like something going on in the digestive tract, How old again? can you get a product called Poultry Nutri Drench? I know TSC carries it, it can be given right into the mouth, carefully, but will deliver a nutritional supplements straight to where needed, this is what it says, premium rich supplement formulated to rapidly deliver energy and essential nutrients. although ducks don't get parasites like other farm animals wondering if maybe he could have picked up something while in the sheep pen? just jumping to conclusions of course. Eyes still clear? I'd say he's not feeling too good and most likely the reason for hunching up. I think I'd put him where he doesn't have to expend so much energy trying to keep up, with some TLC and a bit of detective work on trying to figure out what might be going on this maybe the best course right now. Even one friend in with him to keep him company would help so he doesn't get depressed.

I wont be able to buy anything until tomorrow when I get paid, is there a at home concoction I can make until I can get to the store?
Like cottage cheese and an egg, or bread, or something like that.
There feed consists of corn, oats, and duck pellets.
Should I give him some activated charcoal in case he ate something toxic?
He did free range and with the heat we have been having issues with worms in the younger goats and sheep. Could he be having worm issues simply because hes been hanging out with the sheep and goats?
Until tomorrow, is there anything I should try to do or give him until I can get the nutri drench.
He is six months old now.

He is the duck up front in between the two black and white ones.
you can see how much thinner he has become even in his neck. :(

Info on flushes and yes if you have the activated charcoal use it. https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/700526/flushes-for-aiding-in-toxin-removal#post_9508213 you can try something along the line you have said now will he eat it I have no idea, unless you can put something in with it that he likes. Mine love green peas so maybe some mashed green peas along with the egg etc. my chickens will eat just about anything but my ducks are a little more picky. if he has been in where the manure is and digging around in it he could have picked up a parasite, only way to know for sure would be to do a fecal. Try the Acti. charcoal today and make sure he has plenty of fresh water since all these flushes cause some dehydration. The Nutri Drench isn't real expensive but I usually order o n line so I can get the larger bottle, but you could also pick up some Electrolytes Plus and add them to his drinking water. if you felt the ND was too much. I'd dif keep him form over extending his energy till you can figure out what's going on. Especially with the heat added to it.

Ok, I gave him the activated charcoal and water and I was able to find some extra change to go out and get the Nutri drench.
I'm really hoping this is just a case of eating something he wasn't supposed to and not something that's going to effect my entire flock...
I'll let you know how hes doing tomorrow.
I've put him in a little pen with a pool so he cant go very far. Since there are only four of them I just let everyone chill with him.
Still no raspy gargles so im very happy there appears to be nothing wrong with his lungs.

Good for you, I really think limiting his running around will be best, give him a chance to rest more. look forward to hearing how he is doing.

Alright, he has apple cider water available, was given the charcoal, given the Nutri drench, and he has all the feed he could want available.
He also has his pool.
When I went to the feed store I asked if anyone knew anything about ducks, and I found someone. They said that it sounded like he had something internal going on and that it didnt sound like a virus or a disease, and they asked if someone could have stepped on him or kicked him.
There is no blood in his stool so internal bleeding was ruled out.
If he was stepped on, is there a chance that he could still recover?

Hard to say may depend on how much the animal who stepped on him weighed and what is injured. I'm thinking not a disease either since none of your other ducks are showing symptoms. Hopefully with all your doing and giving time to rest he'll recover. all you can do now is wait. Could one of the sheep or goats stepped on him?

It is very possible that he could have been stepped on. If he ends up passing away i'm going to open him up and see what happened. I have a vet tech friend who said she would help me out with it.
Hes resting well now and I haven't seen him hunch up recently, so hopefully he will pull through.
How long should I keep him confined if he starts to make a turn for the better?
*sorry for all the questions, i've never had a duck with a problem before, they have always been super healthy.*

I'd give him a couple days rest once you notice a turn for the better. That way if he is injured he won't reinjure himself by trying to keep up. I'd give him the ACV and Nuti Drench each day till you see him recovered, then what I do is Nutri Drench 1X a week and ACV 3X a week. but I don't mix the 2 in the same container.
Hopefully you won't need to do necropsy.
