I have a little guy in my class that recently went huntin' with his dad. It was fascinating to read the "tag" of what they got. I didnt' even know we had some of the ducks round these parts that they brought home to feed their family. It was very interesting when he brought the pics and tag for show and tell.

I appreciate you changing the title, around here hunting is uncommon, I never heard of youth waterfowl day so seeing a dead duck when looking for info on pet ducks was a bit of a shock. It is a pretty duck though, I've never seen a wild duck like it.

Haha, well your doing better than i am. I have a hunting buddy that is bound and determined to get me a deer. THIS WILL BE MY FOURTH YEAR. im just not that persistent to go deer hunting every weekend. I rather be out in the marsh or the pheasant field.

Well wish you the best of luck this year............GREAT Job on the wood Duck....Enjoy you hunting years with family and friend...Some of my best times was spend hunting with my Dad..

Sad day when seeing a dead duck can upset so many. What happen to the days when people knew where MEAT came from. FOOD.... these day guess people can only eat food that others have kill for them.

Wonder if these same people would be upset seeing a dressed duck in the store, it still a dead duck.

heck there wasn't even any blood in the pic........
