If you are going to tease me with tamales, I may just pop over for dinner anyway. In spite of the fact you hurt my feelings.





Everyone needs a slap of reality, sooner rather than later in life. If you really love your kids, don't do them any favors, they will thank you later in life.

IMO she is a teen...you know when they usually think they are right/correct about EVERYTHING.
Hopefully she learns something from that thread, and soon.

I am not a fan of babying someone when they complain about their feelings being hurt over facts....something we just can't change for them.

Well, today I'm planning on canning 19 pints of cannellini beans and making a pot of Tuscan soup with the remaining beans.

I just found this and wanted to share.

I need to finish putting my pumpkins stuff up and was trying to decide if I could just keep it in the fridge for a few weeks....guess not.

I am going to hold off on cooking the rest of the pumpkins for now...they should be fine another week or two sitting on the counter.

No one was mean..she just couldn't take the truth.
Some people just don't do well on these type sites, where they just aren't always right, and their feelings get hurt.

Such a shame for her, as this is such a great place to learn most anything. I read and did research for years before getting that cockrel, and realized that I knew very little until I started looking in on BYC for answers and just interesting stories. (Saddly it took about 6 years for Hubby to talk me into joining) I felt I had little or nothing to contribute, Boy was I wrong. LOL So glad I am here. Hope that lady licks her wounds and returns. Everyone here has something to contribute, even if it's just a good question. And we all learn from everything and everone here.

Mine is thanking me at just short of 15, realizes already life is a mixed bag and you have to figure out how to deal with the icky parts.
