Apparently I spilled something in the oven the last time I used it.
My house is FULL of smoke!

When the Chef does Yorkshire pudding...I swear the fire department is going to come busting into the house.

By the way...when did this stupid "FriendsGiving" nonsense start? My co-worker/office mate is about to kill her 15 year old over this new trend.

alright understand now the nuclear family is really no more allot of us have buried our relatives we are what is left so the people all invited friends it is not traditional Thanksgiving so they changed it to FriendsGiving ..... who is to say we did not coin odd terms in out younger days right

But it's in ADDITION to Thanksgiving...that's what has me confused. I get having one or the other (we did that a few years ago)...but this is in addition. "FriendsGiving Eve"...done before Thanksgiving.

anytime I cook on the stove and the smoke detector goes off I yell I AM ONLY COOKING
we go through the self check line at walmart I yell at their machines as it tells us remove item? or do you want to bag this ? they pointed out they love me yelling at it .... I don't do that any more either

I was in the self check out line this morning at Kroger.
It kept telling me to "place item in bag."
I kept telling it "I already DID!"

Oh...the whole opioid thing is here on the East Coast too. Delaware has this huge initiative going to stop overdose deaths. I work in Physical Rehab/Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care and we have to do these government assessments. Starting in October we have to code/report Opioid use. I'm sure after a year they'll tabulate everything and go apesh**. What do they expect? We deal with post surgical and debilitating diseases/disorders. Tylenol doesn't always cut it.

Have any of you seen the shows on Netflix where they follow real life pill heads around.
Horrible...it's just horrible.

I don't take any pills but I can assure you that if I needed them i would be fighting for them.
