Hurricane Advice

Well, if you are giving updates, have you fed your ducks lately? How'd they like the flooding and freezing? Thank goodness those were 2 separate events. Unlike Liz who got both at the same time with solid water!

Someone put up floating duck houses for the park ducks. Haven't seen them use the new houses, but they look cute. Now we just need to put a gnome on the front stoop.

Speaking of geese, my sweet boy Sunshine has decided that I'm his mate! Every morning and every evening (or any time I'm out there) he comes over, pushes his chest up against me and snuggles up, talking in my ear lol. Nobody else can get near him. He either keeps his distance, or straight up charges (usualy the kids). I'm curious to see how he reacts to hubby since he really hasn't seen him much all winter long. He used to treat him with respect so hopefully that doesn't change. The kids have learned how to handle his approaches. I hope he learns though. It would break my heart to get rid of him or eat him.

Nasty irma. We dont have 100 percent power back they still have to work on it. We cant use things that have voltage like a stove or washingmachine. Luckily i talked to them because they tried to blow my mil off when she went to speak to them alone.

Oh boy somebody abandoned a dog infront of my house and he wont leave and has begun to get attached to us. We have to bring him to the pound. We cant keep him.
