Hurricane Advice

Hopefully they have all been able to get some sleep even with the storms raging. They will need some rest in order to cope. I imagine checking in here is not a priority at the moment. Just saw photos of the interstate 610 I think with water half way up the signs over the highway! Hope everyone is safe.

Was up until 2am and just woke up, weather channel doesn't look good, think we wont hear from our Southeastern Texas friends for a while. Another day, at least and possible another 30" of rain. I think it is safe to assume they are just offline for now, continue to pray for them, until we do hear something.

I haven't read back. I have no TV or internet right now. We lost power but it is back on for now. I was told my neighbor hood is on the news. The other side of my neighborhood is being rescued by boats right now. The water came up to my house last night but did not get in. I'll check back in when I can. Stay safe all

It's very very bad in my area. I've no internet and TV so I'm not sure what is happening anymore. My phone internet won't play the news videos so I am staying on the phone with my brother who is giving me updates

It looks like Houston is pretty bad right now. I am in college station (about 45 mins- 1 hour outside of houston) and here we are supposed to get 20 plus inches of rain. My chickens look horrible as they are wet, but they have an area that they can stay dry, if they wanted.
