It looks like Houston is pretty bad right now. I am in college station (about 45 mins- 1 hour outside of houston) and here we are supposed to get 20 plus inches of rain. My chickens look horrible as they are wet, but they have an area that they can stay dry, if they wanted.
Glad you're OK. I'm sure they will go to where they can dry out. Is there a lot of flooding where you are?

Yes, there is quite a bit of flooding, my whole front yard is a swamp.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. How are you all doing?
We are doing pretty well, we have a a few tornado warnings, but none touchdown yet. We also haven't had a power outage, and fingers crossed we won't.

Glad to hear from you, glad you and your chickens are ok. Thank you for checking in, know you are all still in our hearts and prayers. Be safe!

How are you??
I've got water up to my doors now.

CRAZY!
Oh no! I hope you stay safe and your house stays dry. :hugs
Anyone have any updates?
I was awake all night and couldn't figure out why. Maybe I was thinking of all you folks in TX.

Keep us updated so we know you are ok.
If anyone is friends with them, let us know that things are ok :(

I am thinking that they might have had to leave if the rains got that bad. Hoping it is just power outage

I am alright here in Houston. My house is alright, but the streets around us are entirely flooded. The rain is still here. Steadily raining. Thank you for your well wishes.

Hopefully they have all been able to get some sleep even with the storms raging. They will need some rest in order to cope. I imagine checking in here is not a priority at the moment. Just saw photos of the interstate 610 I think with water half way up the signs over the highway! Hope everyone is safe.
I stayed up until midnight thinking about the storm with my family. We heard lighting strike a tree nearby, it fell on our friends house. Lots of people we know houses are flooded.
It's very very bad in my area. I've no internet and TV so I'm not sure what is happening anymore. My phone internet won't play the news videos so I am staying on the phone with my brother who is giving me updates
I am glad you did not have to retreat for the attic or anything like that. An estimated 1,000 people have been rescued.
Really happy to hear the water is not up in the house. I wonder if it stopped raining. Good news they are getting right at rescuing people.
It has definitely not stopped raining. It will stall over Houston for the next couple of days. Work, school and many things canceled.
