If you can give me a more precise location to look at on radar, I might be able to give you an idea what the rain in doing.

I'm looking out the window. It's still raining. I'm on the south side of Houston. Just south of the beltway 8....

lilmarie84 did you get your family home safe? Are ya'll doing okay? All Orleans Parish schools are closed tomorrow, public and Catholic. Do your kids have to go to school tomorrow? Daughter tells me she heard Brother Martin students were in knee deep water at school today.

yeah everyone got home safe yesterday unfortunately Jefferson Parish didn't close school today at least not the east bank don't know bout the lower parts of Jefferson or the west bank but I kept my babies home anyway wasn't taking the chance not to mention I got soaked picking my youngest up from the bus stop even with an umbrella so I wasn't feeling to good last night

I can't crack a joke for the life of me right now. The not being able to see the news is going to kill me. I'm going to have to start a DVD movie now to drown out the boat and helicopter. Those sounds are quite scary
