post office is privatly owned has been for 20 years and it is a hen go get it

"Private" ugh! I thought you went to the Federal Pen forever if you stole from the post office. I had a big picture of someone stealing my package to PR and spending the rest of their life in the Pen over a box of sanitary pads.

It's convoluted. It's still a federal crime to mess with the mail or to injure a postal worker; however, they have been "privatized" so they no longer get federal funding. Sort of...

Sounds silly, but I am on top of the world after sending that package this morning.

Kiki, I really think that chicken is a male. Probably why it lives there in the first place. Someone had to get rid of it and decided if it was a public nuisance, they would make him a public responsibility. Drop him off at the post office. After Katrina there was a rooster who lived in a tree across the street from a gas station. The people at the station fed and watered him. Then the neighbors complained and he ended up in the park. He was in the tree for a few years. Then the park for a while, but I haven't seen him in quite a while.
