Think maybe it was better than one knows to grow up on a farm where we did our own butchering with the tuck in drive for all but chickens grew our own food we had a really special event to go to grocery store

Wow, as a RN, this brings up lots of questions about antibiotic resistant diseases we see regularly today. And what we might be doing to our children unknowingly. May re look at meat birds and stop worrying about hatching males and what to do with them since I am not allowed to keep a rooster. Hubby will be doing repair work on the grow out area sooner than he thinks! LOL

I am not a fan of using antibiotics that the doctors seem to so quickly hand out.
The Mini has never had to take the nasty pink medicine.
Unfortunately the others have.
