Like mentioned, I put the pumpkin steam water out for the birds and they went after it. Color of tea. Smelled like, not sure.
Just did another check, 2 of the 6 pumpkins had soft spots and those are the one being processed. Hopefully, the other 4 will hold for another week. Son came in and looked at the pumpkins and got confused. Knew better than to say anything, though.
Gave the dog a piece of pumpkin and she is chewing on it. Guess I'm worming the dog too! Eh, @KikisGirls ?That bodes ill for a fenceless garden plot.
So I can leave the garden plot unfenced and have the dogs inspect and bless it. Or I can fence it and have the squirrels inspect and bless. Worst case, unfenced and the dogs and the squirrels team up and call in the bugs & birds? Decisions, decisions.
I might have taken my Christmas tree down out of the attic just now.
Don't judge me, yes we do fake trees down here.
I am too cheap to buy a real $100 Christmas tree each year and I am not a fan of cleaning up after it.
