Anyone have big plans for next week?

We will be eating at my brother's house this year.
I am bringing one of the turkeys.

When should I take it out of the freezer to start thawing in the fridge so I have time to brine it..now?
I'm taking next week off from work, so I'm exploring recipes so that I can shop for the ingredients - I was looking though a Figi's catalog, and the food looked great, but so expensive! I'll just make it homemade instead. We'll be having Thanksgiving at Golden Corral with my family, then go to Prattville, AL to have Thanksgiving again on Saturday the 25th with DH's family so we can watch the Iron Bowl with them. It'll be fun, but busy!
 
We normally all get to gather at my mom's..the REAL chef in the family.
She has been slaving for years for DAYs to get Thanksgiving meal done.

We are going to try doing it at my brothers and we are 100% sure the food will not be as good but she won't have to slave this year.
She may through a fit when she finds out my brother is cooking a brisket but Kiki will surprise her with some "regular" turkey day foods.

Will you be stuffing the turkey with mofogo? Last year I tried to but I failed lol i'm not the best at making mofongo.

No I will not be stuffing it with that.
I actually am one of those that makes the stuffing on the side.
