Hurricane Florence, anything I should do?

Expect massive flooding. Seriously. Expect to come home to 3 feet of water in your garage. If you plan for that and leave them as much food as possible, they should be OK. Put out all the food and water you can, in case you're away for longer.

Any way you could put them in a dog crate or such and take them with you? That's the safest option if you can manage it.
I couldn't find any where that i could take the, I've put sandbags in front of the garage, and It's pretty leak-tight. Hoping they'll be alright! I have a friend that works for emergency responders who will check on them and do what he can for them.

you re in my thoughts. are there any emergency shelters for animals in nc? are their any farms that will care for livestock while you are gone?
No that I've seen. I have someone that works for emergency responders who will check on them for me. I left this morning with a camera to look at them until the power goes out..

Is your property on high ground? I know much of the Carolinas away from the coast are fairly hilly/mountainous.

It is too late now but for those of you who potentially find themselves in the path of hurricanes, there are now a wide array of off-grid LED lighting that run on 12 volts.

There are a bunch of stables and farms opening their doors to any livestock in need of shelter, you just need to get on Facebook and look.... Almost all stables are lending out their unused stalls for critters who had to evacuate. Depending on where exactly you are I would not leave them behind..... Good luck, we are batting down the hatches here too.
Hugs to u.
