That’s what I’ve been thinking about. It’s even worse because they’re not totally open to the inside. It’s just one little hole that connects to the box from inside the coop, if that makes sense. I’ll have to think something up before they start laying.

I think I’ll just cut that wall out so it’s totally open to the inside of the coop when the time comes, and add proper dividers in the nest box while I’m at it.

Yes they will.
They usually all fight to lay in the same ONE every day.
It is very rare that I find eggs in more than one nesting box of mine.
They all lay in the same one.
