Jhonny Cash also did a remake of the Marylin Manson song "Personal Jesus".
I love both versions of the song.

Depeche Mode is amazing...but mostly just the stuff from the late 80's. I think Personal Jesus came out right at the tail end of the 80's.

Cash's version is amazing. It's one of those songs that really move you. I think it's a very relatable song, as it can be interpreted about any kind of addiction in general. Even small things like anger issues and dissapointing decision making can make you relatable to this song. That little line "I will let you down, I will make you hurt" just sinks in so deeply. Apologetic and unapologetic at the same time, like telling someone that you love "I will mess this up no matter what, I have a problem. This is what I am." It's very powerful.

You know what is the Absolute Creepiest thing?? This prompted me to look up the nine inch nails version of it on youtube, as I was watching I noticed the ad on the side says "Johhny Cash ringtones!..." It was really wierd.
