I just got a few little chicks the other day, and today I found one with cut on its belly. I put some hydrogen peroxide and petroleum jelly and isolated it with heat, but is there anything else I can do? This one was my favorite.

1st..peroxide is to harsh...it can burn the tissue and slow down healing. I use triple antibiotic ointment or Neosporin for boo boos. Are u sure it's not the belly button? If its otherwise ok and the other chicks r leaving it alone..it would be less stressed if it was with the others.

How big is the belly button? Also, I checked and I didn’t see anything like it on the others.
