HURT CHICKEN NEED SOME HELP

Help, I have a 15 week old rhode island red rooster and it has a hurt leg the knuckle and down is swollen and limping on it and know it has a red streak running down the leg. does anyone now what it might be.

Can you see any puncture like he stepped on glass or a thorn? Disinfect it, and keep it clean, and watch and see his reaction. He will probabably be O.K. in a little while. We once had a hen that got cut really bad ,we do not knlw how, and she limpped for years before it healed all the way. She was wild so we did not do any thing at all for it, and she lived a normal life. Still layed and every thing.
