Hurt duckling

But it doesn’t feel dislocated? At the hip? Use the Epsom salt compresses on her today and see if they help. Try not to let her run or try to run around Rest is important. If you notice redness, heat and more swelling then I’d try getting her to a vet. Leg injuries can take time to heal so don’t give up on her
Ok thanks for the help! We have her separated right now. This afternoon we will give her another soak.

Please update how she is doing.
She had another soak today. She's moving around a bit but won't extend her leg. We don't feel anything wrong. Maybe just a sprain or a hyperextension. She landed on her feet. Still praying!

Yes but we know there is nothing the vet can do. Whats hurt is the knee and the bone that goes up into the body. The vet could only diagnose the problem. Not help.
They could offer advice and pain meds if needed. There might be more going on than what you can see.

So... we are going to take her to a vet. Things don't feel symmetrical. We don't want her to be in anymore pain. We will schedule an appointment and hope for the best!
In response to this earlier post, no vet's near us will treat the bird. Does anyone know how to splint a duck leg? If its already started healing, how do we set it? Please help!

It is sounded like a slipped tendon. I haven't dealt with this but there are post on here about it.
