I personally would use an antibiotic ointment rather than the essential oils on that, they are just too extensive. Preventing infection and promoting healing are the priorities here. I would trim back the feathers that are getting in the wounds with some small scissors to help keep it clean. You can use veterycin spray to clean it from here on out, if needed, then apply the neosporin or triple antibiotic ointment. As long as there is no infection it should heal up with some time and be fine. I would not cover it with any bandaging. It will heal better uncovered, and as you have discovered, bandages can stick and cause more tissue damage getting them off. They can also close bacteria in and promote infection. Just keep it as clean as possible and reapply the ointment as needed, probably 2 -3 times a day.
