Hurt leg :( now WITH PICS

My New Hampshire Red arrived with a hurt left leg. She's eating and drinking. Should I call My Pet Chicken?

She holds it up while she's standing. She also limps while she walks it would be hard to get a picture of it...should i call My Pet Chicken?

How many chicks did you get from them?

I don't think MPC intentionally pit a chick in there with a hurt leg, it may have had a bit of a rough journey. You may want to give em a ring and see what they have to say though.. I would give it a day and see how the leg is, hopefully it is just a bruise or strain. poor little girl =/

3...i should have gotten more.

I hope she is ok. She is Reeeeeaaaaallllyyyy fat. So that maybe a problem in recovery.
She's up with the other chicks eating egg right now.

My minimum order was 10 chicks, I live right beside the middle of nowhere hehe

I am glad that i got 10 though, they are adorable.

I have 19 all together...the crazy thing is i have 2 more orders from ideal coming...one should be here today...one june 16...i'm going to have to thin my flock

Looks like all we got on the forums today is newbies like me =/

I will try to bump this up for you so some more seasoned posters can help.
Can you give us a picture of her? that may help, if its splayed leg or whatever. or maybe you could try to see if there are any visible marks or wounds?
