Hurt leg

7 week old or so bronze with hurt leg. He's been walking and eating and limping for over a week. Any idea of why or how I can help?

There are many reasons for injured legs. Are yours heritage or broad breasted, which can be prone to leg problems due to growing too fast. What are you feeding them? At 7 weeks they should be on something with a protein content of 18-22% to even out growth. Are they roosting or flying, sometimes a hard landing can cause limping. There's vitamin deficiencies like rickets and slipped tendons in Turkey. I wouldn't mess with the turkey itself, but check your feed to make sure it's not old and that you aren't feeding a higher protein still. Otherwise hopefully it just twisted it and after a few days it improves.

My turkey has the same problem. We are going to get more protein in there food and see how it goes. We use vitamins in the water but I guess it's not enough.
