I'm just wondering if anyone an help me? Yesterday my Mummy pekin bantam hen, who currently has 10 two and a half week old chicks had a piece of wood fall on her leg. i was not there. she can hardly walk and when she does it looks really painful. she is bending the leg outwards away from her body. i felt the bones and they feel the same as her good leg but i'm not a vet so i don't know. she moves a bit when she has to but otherwise she just sits. she has hardly made a sound. i am going to try to take her to the vet tomorrow as its a public holiday today but what can i do to assess the situation now?
