Hurt rooster. Need Help

Recently my 1 yr old silkie rooster has been limping and I figured it was his leg because he had been fighting our other rooster. Last he the same thing happened with his dad. He ended up being paralyzed. I had thought th same thing. I thought that his leg/wing was injured but over the cause of 2 days he slowly was paralyzed. I’m just wandering if this is the same this and if I should put the 1 yr old rooster down now so he doesn’t suffer

Limps can be damn near anything and since he's a silkie damn near everything +1.
Have you given him a nice warm soak or 1/2 an 81mg asprin for pain and stiffness yet?

Have you looked your roo over for any injuries beyond lameness? Maybe he's got a cut or a dislocation hiding under all the fluff.

Check simple things too like footpads, toenails and feet feathers.
A broken foot feather LOOKS like the end of the world.

Lameness leading to paralysis makes me think of the possibility of Marek's disease. Were your birds vaccinated against this ?

Weird but check the local CDC for bacterial outbreaks near your area.
I lost a pullet last year to what was basically flesh eating bacteria effecting the joints.
Mimiced Merek's nearly perfectly but the paralysis never moved past the hip.
Took a necropsy and 3 months of chicken hospice to find out.
Neighbor lady nearly lost her leg to it at the same time!
Moral of the story, relax but always double wash your hands!
