YAY I WAS RIGHT!!! I’m so proud of myself. ))

Congrats, that’s awesome I was convinced by their head shape today too they were barnevelders looking back. They have a super unique silhouette and body shape y’all will love them.

They’re such pretty chicks and adults, but so are those partridge rocks, I’ve always been wanting them too, so they’ll have to go on my list.

Been trying to find affordable Barnevelders for ages! Top breed in Holland but working on their popularity here... would help them out- if I could afford it! I don't think they'd be at Tractor Supply.. not that TSC isn't the most expensive store.

No they were also straight run

Wanted to update the pics....they were on the move at 2 weeks first time free roaming lol (in a fenced yard hahaha) but 2 have lots of feathers and 2 do not. The one by itself has hardly any feathers and in the other pic u can see 1 that has a lot of feathers

Ok a lil over 3 weeks....updated pics....pretty pretty birdies already! Hubby did good....I guess lol shhhh don’t tell him I said that....trying to decide on boys or girls...I think it’s half and half I hope these pics are better....they are free roaming in a fenced (big) yard so they r always on the move

I don’t think I ever recall reading that name on a tag at TSC

TSC’s signage isn’t always correct I correct my local store whenever I go in, b/c they are often mislabeled. I picked up some barnevelders at TSC several weeks ago. If that’s what you have, they are beautiful birds with good personalities (I have 5 grown hens of that breed)
