I will summarize this topic as author. Dogs are dogs, but look this journey in Latin - Chordata- Mammalia- Carnivora- Canidae - Canis- Wolf- Dog.
All my animals- dogs, birds are the animals have been brought into this family with a long way of thinking and a great sense of responsibility. My husky will stay with me until the end, yes it is my great love, and so he remains! I can't put into words how much I love him. Unfortunately, humans remain more primitive than animals (to me!) I sincerely hope that will change in the future. Our little Frissu orig. name Freeze photo in file

It would be very interesting to know. I have wondered if my Shadow is mixed with something else because he looks like a husky but much bigger. I have tried researching malamute but he doesn't fit the description either. It would be fun either way.
I read a review on Amazon for a husky that the person adopted at a shelter and it showed that a grand parent of their dog had German shepherd but the others were all Siberian Husky. Thought it was extremely fascinating.
If I ever do end up doing it, I'll let you know!
Well, the photo would say maybe everything. But in addition to a photo of the whole body and tail shape. In addition, body weight and eye color.

IF the dog were 2 years old, or younger, I would suggest training. IF the dog did not come in, interact substantially with the owner, get up close, and personal time, sleep inside the house with them at night, I would suggest training. In this instance, I would have the vet put it down. That's not being callous, it's using good sense.
A husky is worth a helluva lot more than a chicken. Dog problems are people problems plain and simple. That dog can be trained. Whether the op should own the dog is another story altogether. High prey drive in certain dogs isn’t for everyone.

We will watch all the videos with the dog when we are ready and the time is right. We are recovering now...
You really should seek out a trainer or at the very least watch plenty of videos and read a few books. That dog is clearly in charge and leading you instead of the other way around. I’m not so doom and gloom but at the very least it should annoy you that the dog doesn’t respond to your basic commands. If you can’t walk up to the dog and take something from him there’s a serious fault on your part not the dog.

I may not go to a professional coach. First of all, I can't get a husky in the car. Our dogs are not social, we live in a very remote place. Vaccinations would also bring us to the bus stop if ordered. I don't take it all catastrophically, my family has had a German shepherd, mix of Laika and I raised myself Afghan hurt and now Jack russell, Siberian husky. It's about time I don't have.

Your dog is beautiful. You seem like a very good dog owner! I am sorry for the loss of your hen. I hope you find what you're looking for to help your particular situation.
