This is Chester, who was the friendliest and most goofy chicken I’ve ever had. I rescued him after someone abandoned him (probably because he was a rooster) in the tractor supply parking lot. While he didn’t show a lot of interest in hens and wasn’t the best with other roosters (he did fine in my rooster-only flock), he was tame and never showed even a hint of human aggression towards anyone. I miss him a lot. I believe he was an American game mix, probably around 2-3 years old.
