Hybrid Ducks...I am sill unclear,

@PATOS You worry too much! You have beautiful mutt ducks with a lot of character. From my experience with cats and dogs, muttlings are much more friendy and healthy than show-quality breeds. As far as i understand, you don't want to show off your birds, so why worry? I can see all kinds of breed characteristics in your ducks: Green head (Mallard), White eye-stripe (Saxony), white bib (Swedish/Magpie) and the posture shows that there is some Runner heritage. A very healthy mix! Enjoy your birds.

I do worry- I sleep where I can look at the duck house all night
remember the goal is lots of eggs and happy ducks

also do many drakes?? wait till he new generation comes?

Ok, if I understand the question right you are breeding a male runner with a female KC. ALL of their offspring will be hybrid runner/KCs. I don't know a lot on color genetics, but as you can see from their offspring, you have uncovered some different colors that have been hiding in the genes of the parents. Even though the offspring are assorted colors, they are still ALL hybrid runner/KCs. You cannot get a pure breed duck from mating two ducks of different breeds.

so with selective breeding I could come up with different dominate traits like laying or???
