I raise ringnecks and these aint ringnecks. If i didnt know better id say the closest thing they come to in color and size are varities of golden pheasantsYou can get wild "sports" in nature.
A "sport" is defined as a natural occurence that changes or alters color patterns in plants and animals.
Green ringnecks would be defined as a "sport"
Bear in mind there are Chinese ringnecks and Mongolian ringnecks and both are nothing more than subspecies of Phasianus colchicus. But if they get mixed you get the color variants or "sports" and since "sports" are NOT hybrids they will breed with each other and normal colored birds and thus even more "sports" can show up.
