Hybrid Pheasants

Your mutts may be purebreds. Goldens do not achieve full color in their first year. Give them a couple of years. I really doubt they are hybrids. Any pictures? What species were they supposed to be when you bought them?

No none of them are pure. although you are correct in saying they dont colour in their first year they look like the females with a longer tail and a bit of colour. all these photos are hybrid pheasants

I'm slightly confused, in this post you state that none of them are pure, in reference to birds you purchased..... If you purchased them then I would assume you do actually keep hybrids or have in the past.... As I said, extra pics would be great! No one is frowning on you for keeping hybrids!

Hold on. I didnt say that I had hybrids. Take a moment to look at who put the picture of the said pheasant up. Not me. I do not keep hybrids, I never have and never will

I am not wrong for reading something that YOU WROTE. All I asked for was pics of your hybrids. I assume you have deleted the original messages you posted because I cannot find them, and trust me I have looked. It is clearly evident by the conversation had between you and Jimarcher that you DID ACTUALLY HAVE HYBRIDS. I don't have a problem with that. AND I DONT SEE WHY YOU ARE MAKING SUCH AN ISSUE OF IT! All I asked for was pics!

I do however have a problem with someone calling me wrong and trying to make me look stupid because they don't want to be known to keep hybrids. End of conversation.

I am not wrong. I am pretty sure the last time I checked what ppheasants I had , their were 2 yellow goldens and 3 red goldens. I cant give u pics of hybrid pheasants because I dont have any
