That’s good to know! I found another one from that brand on TSC’s app, and it might fit? I just don’t know how visible it would be! This is an interesting hunt!

I have a tiny tiny black one (actually 2) in my incubator. I like them but they do need to be calibrated (well checked and marked as they aren't completely accurate. One of mine seemed to be and one was 1* off. I just checked them against a meat thermometer and then did the salt test for the hygrometer part. I can find the link but they are REALLY small. smaller than an egg so fit no problem.

Really small would be good! Our incubator is covered in styrofoam, and every time we take the foam off to candle, etc., the temperature starts to drop dramatically, very quickly. If it sits inside of it, I wonder if I would get an accurate reading by the time I got the foam off and the incubator open...

it takes a little bit (not long though) to drop with the temp.) why don't you want a govee? then you can see what it is in there with out having to open it? I have the 2 little ones and a govee. long story but I was having a couple issues and was a bit paranoid so make sure I could check the temp. haahaa! with the govee I like that I can look at any time and see the temp/humidity for the day, the week or just hte past hour and see what it is fluctuating even if I am not looking at it non stop.

I know, call me crazy, but that’s just a personal preference, my whole family is mostly this way.. I can definitely get what you’re saying though about not having to open it all the time!

I can understand that. The little one works great. It was recommended to me by another BYC member. The # are easy to read too even though it is tiny
