I’ll ask 10 questions, you answer them.

1. I like the cold and one of my favorite book series when I was in high school is the ranger's apprentice
2. No, I am a big fan of easter eggers though
3. State of controlled chaos
4. 7
5. No, I don't like kids
6. How chill and sweet they are
7. If I had to pick probably Ginkgo. Ever since she was little she had a very serene expression (she's named after Ginko from mushishi who is very chill) and that was no coincidence. She's my friendliest bird yet she also takes no nonsense from anyone, especially when some of the cats get into spats with each other

8. Not often as they like to try and go in the neighbor's yard
9. Yes, I have a dog and several cats including some strays I feed. I'm also caring for my neighbor's dogs ATM
10. About 5

#1 Why did you choose your username?
I couldn’t think of anything so I just used my dog’s name, Evangeline, and I always call her „the good dig” because she loves to dig, so, Evadig.
#2 Anyone else obsessed with Wyandottes?
No, I don’t like them. I’ve had two and they’ve both been bullies.
#3 What State do you live in?
Blue Ridge Mountains
#4 How many chickens do you have?
Eighteen
#5 Do you have children, and if so, how many?
No kids
#6 What is your favorite thing about your flock?
I like best that I can leave them for three days and not feel guilty. Also that they get along with the cats and rabbits.
#7 Who’s your favorite chicken?
(Pictures are highly recommended.)
Mitzi, Agnieszka, and Patience

#8 Do you free-range your flock, and if not, why?
Yes, but only because my family lets them out of their pen. I prefer not to free range because we have hawks and foxes, and I also have four roosters that all need to be separated.
#9 Do you have other animals?
Two dogs, three cats, two rabbits, two parakeets, one turtle
#10 What is your average egg count?
Oh, about seven a day out of fourteen hens.

Can I add a question? If you name your chickens, what are the names and why?
All mine are named after saints, usually from the hen’s country of origin, virtues, or (especially in recent times) whatever sounded good at the moment.

Prudence, Lydwinne, Rose, Wilhelmina, Lily, Lucy, Betsy Lee, Priscilla, Faith, Hope, Charity, Mitzi, Agnieszka, Patience

Winston Churchill, Stanislaw, Honor, Liberty
