I’m new to the duck scene. Need some advice please.

I spoke with the vet. She’s doing ok. He has her on an anti inflammatory and 2 antibiotics. Not sure yet which ones. She doesn’t have diarrhea anymore. She’s drinking water. She picked at some regular feed. They are still tubing her to feed her. He ordered a blood panel and sent it off to a lab. Waiting for results. He’s going to consult with an avian specialist. No fever. Maintaining weight. He also said she’s moving around and looks bright.

I just got off the phone with the vet. Her bloodwork showed super high white blood cells indicating a major infection. Everything else was as expected being that she hasn’t been eating. He said she’s perked up and the discharge around her eyes is clearing up. She is pecking at her food but not really eating still. They are still tube feeding her.

Do they think the meds will clear up the infection? I sure hope so. Sounds like she’s in good hands.
