I’m new to the duck scene. Need some advice please.

Did the vet give subcutaneous fluids? What antibiotic is she on?
What about recomm them to give the baby Parrot food like you helped me to give Little Lou when he couldn’t eat....and I tube fed him. It worked wonders and kept him alive...I don’t want to recommend anything, because, I don’t want to overstep my bounds..I’m not the experienced one like you and Miss Lydia...

She’s drinking a lot of water today so far and is trying to quack. I put her in her pool for a little while and she swam around and drank a lot. I tried to feed her the regular feed and she still won’t eat. She had a few nibbles of some dry oatmeal but that’s it. She didn’t want to get out of the pool but I took her out and brought her back inside. When I got her out of the pool, her feathers had soaked up a lot of water. Like she’s not producing oil. She’s got a lot more energy but I really want her to start eating again. She has lost so much weight.

Also she hasn’t pooped in over 24 hours

I don't have much advice as there are much more experienced people on here but one thing I am wondering if someone can answer, isn't 106 a normal body temperature for a duck? Does she have any favorite treats? One of my ducks is just finishing up a course of antibiotics. She didnt have an appetite and wouldn't eat her regular feed but I had success getting her to eat thawed frozen peas. Also, how long ago did the other duck die?

If she’s been feeling bad she probably hasn’t been preening the oils over her feathers. If it’s cold outside I wouldn’t put her in the pool. Getting her in a cold pool she can get chilled especially while running a fever. Trying warm water over her feed might get her to at least try her feed since she’s drinking good.
