My wife and I are retired and taking care of two wonderful children. Our kids are both severely disabled and we adopted them because we fell in love with them when they were in our foster care. We try to let them experience everything that they can in order to make their lives more fulfilling. They are awesome awesome kids.
I worked for a farmers coop back in the eighties for about 10 years. I learned a lot about animals, farming, etc. it wasn’t til recently, when my wife said she wanted chickens, that we got chickens. I knew a lot about them but never raised any. So we spent a lot of money on a coop and a run, feeders, watered etc. and received chicks July 24. They’ve grown quite a bit and my wife started naming them, so they’re pretty much just for eggs.
As I said I learned a lot at the coop, but I’m hoping to pick up more practical knowledge on this site. Thanks
