I’m so upset…

If you want to try something anyway... you might go out with a good flashlight (spotlight if you have one) and light the way down for them. Maybe, take some treats to help encourage them down.

I've done this quite often and mine came down quite readily each time. To be fair, they were hungry the first time I did it. And after that, they had done it before, of course. But if yours are too uncomfortable, I would think that would encourage them down as much as being hungry would.

Good suggestions here.
I'll just add, my method to get a chicken down from a high place or out of an awkward place is to get a really long pole. Hopefully not too heavy, and wood is better than smooth plastic/metal although it might do in a pinch.
Then extend your pole out to the chicken, keeping it balanced and steady. Move the pole just in front of the breast bone, horizontally, so the end is just like a roost bar. Nudge them gently in the lower breast, or tuck the pole under a little and lift them a bit, that sort of motion wakes them up.
Then they tend to get interested in the roost pole that's higher than their current one. When they step up on it they will flutter their wings to balance and your job is to smoothly lower the pole to the ground without disturbing them off of it or making the roost angle too steep to grip (why wood is better).
I know my detailed explanation makes this sound really hard but it's easier for me than climbing, lol.

Be careful not to poke them as you won't have a enough feel for the pressure on the other end. And some are really slow to wake, requiring repeated cajoling.
But if yours are out in stormy weather uncovered it's likely they aren't all the way asleep anyway.

I can’t reach them. They got up there while we were gone and it’s impossible. That’s the issue, they can’t be reached.
While your birds are out and about during the day, permanently block access to the high roosts. Only give them access to an area you can reach, so you can move them as needed. They'll "get it" eventually ... and you can get some sleep!

You can’t get a ladder in there because of what I wrote above. There’s their huge carport tent in front of both coops, it’s their covered front porch they hang out in during the day that keep everything dry for their food and just a shady place for when it’s hot for them to go to when they want. I just hope they’ll ok. Hoping someone knows if they are wet and it gets down to 31 if they’ll be ok. I’m at a loss. Situation explained above. There’s no trees.
Have you considered using sticks/ ping pong balls and throwing it at them? It'll get them off the roof and in an area you can get them without hurting them.

I round my chickens up an hour before dark and count them before locking them up for the night. This allows me time to round up any slackers before dark. Most of us use a ladder and a long pole to make them come down but some throw stuff. My chickens have never tried to roost on anything I couldn't reach without a ladder or a pole but if they did I'd use a water hose then dry them off before locking them up.In this situation I'd be afraid to do that so I'd probably leave them up there. The best time to 'train' them to go to roost in the coop is soon as they start roosting outside(not wait until bad weather) My dads chickens roosted in trees and none died but he treated them for frost bite every winter.I hope your chickens make it safely thru the night.I wouldn't sleep a wink if mine were up there
