I’m starting to hate my rabbits because of Craigslist people… Rant

Sounds to me like rabbits are too much work and she would rather snap their necks than deal with them after having three accidental litters.

Humanely killing the extras and then eating them sounds to me like a very good solution.

That would avoid dealing with any more rude people on craigslist (or here), and would get the numbers back down to the original amount that was apparently right: TWO pet rabbits, with NO litters intended. And of course now she knows what gender her rabbits are, and what is needed to avoid any more oops litters (neuter/spay, with very secure cages until after the spay.)

I agree that eating them would be a good solution, especially since there are many other rabbits in shelters already.
What I don't understand is how others reporting a CL post would make someone hate their pet rabbits and want to snap the babies necks when the issue is no one's fault but the owners.

I can see hating the craigslist/rehoming process, and that transferring over to the rabbits that caused the need for rehoming. I think rabbits that breed are not a good pet for OP, but that's why the whole situation exists-- OP tried to get rabbits that would not breed, even going so far as to have them sexed by a vet (who said they were both bucks, but was obviously wrong about one of them.)

OP said "snap their necks," and later explained "I would eat them."
So I thought "snap their necks" was just a statement how OP would kill a rabbit.
(like if someone said "chop it's head off" about a chicken that was causing frustration.)

I felt like it made sense to me, but I can't really explain why.

Me too. @Smileybans came on here to vent, not have people make her more upset. There’s not enough kindness in the world today. If you don’t have anything nice to say, probably best to move on.

As some of you know my two “male” rabbits had three litters of kits. I successfully re-homed two of those litters all while being called a breeder, monster, horrible person and so on. Well now I’m not even able to post about the third litter because these SJWs who think they’re saving these “poor over bred rabbits from a life of cruelty” are now robbing them of actual homes. I got one person to contact me about them but we were no longer able to talk to each other because the post got taken down. Once that happens all contact is broken. My mental health cannot take this. I am only on one social media, BYC, for a reason. My anxiety is too high. And all these people contacting me and telling me I’m sh*t and flagging my posts makes my anxiety worse. These baby rabbits aren’t worth it. I used to enjoy the parents and the one baby I kept. Used to enjoy watching them and spending time with them. Now I don’t. Now I don’t want to be anywhere near any of them and want all of them gone.

Post in a local advert magazine. Put up some adverts in feed stores. I breed mine to eat. If they come running their mouths at me i will post videos, make several bak up accs and continue to do so. I refuse to eat contaminated soy and grasshoppers. Meanwhile, these industries they make purchases from, commit all manner of human rights atrocities and animal cruelty. My animals are well taken care of.
