I’m thinking I didn’t get what was listed…

Following up on this! Our 15 week old Not-a-Delaware Cockerel is crowing and living his best life as a mystery roo. We are still trying to figure out what he might be. I have trolled all the hatchery sites for yellow chicks that grow up to look similar to him and the closest I've got is an Amberlink or Amber White - which I see that some people mentioned (AND I MISSED THAT SORRY!).. What do we think with updated pics?

Is that very light barring on his hackle and wing??

California Tan or Smokey pearl? (Only guessing those 2 bc we purchased 2 straight run in a bin with those options-basically a mix). We have 1 for sure male, suspected within 1st 24 hours. Started crowing at 2.5months. He looks mostly like a leghorn but has a few black feathers

Maybe? It's the black in the tail that makes me wonder still.
I see black in tail, barring in hackle and barring on wing. He's silver(or white?.. dominant white?) So there's Columbian pattern, barring(poor), orange legs, single comb. It technically fits the Delaware description with poor color. Instead of silver it looks like perhaps his parent was a dominant white which erased most of the black and only some leaked through.

this would be wild! You’ve seen more delawares than I have though so if you would semi-confidently say that he is a “poor color line Delaware” I will run with it. I’m taking him to auction this Friday and want to be able to put something down for the sale!

I'm pretty interested in this guy as I was just asking questions about putting a Delaware hen under a dominant white Ameraucana. So likely this very bird is similar to what the males would look like from such a cross color wise. Can you post more pictures of his tail, saddle feathers and hackles? I could swear I saw faint barring in his tail too.
