Another thing to think about. That is a sheet rock screw. Not a surgical grade metal device. The screws and artificial hips, etc are made of titanium, stainless, or other non-ferous alloys. Even though that screw may have black paint or anodization on it, it was never meant to be in any living body. It will give her problems eventually, if it doesn't kill her first.Well, they sterilize those things, and they put them in bones. They don't use a nonsterile item that's poking through the wall of an organ and outside the body. Any solid object poking outside the body is a site where infection can get in, not to mention that you aren't supposed to have an object pinning part of your organ to something else. This is in no way comparable to the screws they put in bones.
She might do okay, but if she does, it will be out of luck and of scar tissue forming in the right spots to deal with it.
