SOMEONE in my flock is crowing (or at least trying to). All of my birds are between 7-12 weeks old. There are absolutely only 2 it could be and I REALLY think my ameraucana is a hen. BUT he/she displays a lot of behaviors that are more rooster like. So I’ll post some pictures here. The other suspect is a little olive egger and I really only think so because of its tail feathers. Interested to hear the opinions of others.

Your EE is a pullet. Your Olive Egger might be the cockerel. Why aren't your other birds likely candidates?
My other birds are all definite hens and are old enough to tell for sure.
Curious-why do you say EE? She is from a local breeder and should be a brown red ameraucana.

The Oliver egger just looks guilty, pic 10 says it all. Lol. I'm also in agreement with the tail feathers. The other is squawking away in pic 1 saying you got the wrong bird.

She has a single come and green legs, and she does not look like a recognized Ameraucana color.
Good to know. In real life her legs are more blue/gray, but I believe it. Doesn’t matter much to me. She’s the weirdest bird. 😂 wish I could post a video here. She sings like a songbird. Very strange
