I took the rest. I threw them in my incubator. She pecked it’s head in. This egg is from my absolute favorite hen and it was a blue. No chances. This hen is now only an incubator that will never hatch chicks, only sit on them until the last days.

That stinks! I had one hen who loved to sit, but would not tolerate the chicks. Luckily she didn't kill them, just drove them out of the nest. She was a mean hen and bully and eventually became dinner.

It was horrifying to walk out there and see the poor thing being flung out of the nest with a bashed in head. Fully developed. No more eggs for that hen.

I don’t even know if the rest of these eggs are viable. There are two that might be so hopefully they are. This hen loves to sit too. So sit she shall, on an empty nest.

I might have just moved a bed so I can lay next to the incubator.

It would have been much much easier to just move the bator you know.

I had to separate myself from the room after making sure the humidity was high enough and the temp was high enough after not expecting to need it.
