I accidentally bought some eggs! Oops!!

I just bought my first quail eggs yesterday. She is sending them next week. I've already changed two of my rails on my turner to the quail racks and I bought a quail pen today on CL. I'm going to pick it up Saturday. I'm really excited. I had a flock on BMC last year but I sold them. I really really love my Polish and wanted to concentrate on them. I was just looking on ebay at there were several auctions of BCM. I am adding some wyandottes to my flock this year. I want some winter layers lol. I also just bought a bunch of EE's because I fell in love with her rooster. He is GORGEOUS

. I only have 3 EE's including one rooster so I will welcome the additions.

Yeah I like the ee but I'm trying hard to concentrate on my dels my coturnixs and I wanna get into the bcms. I've got a few eggs in bator for my dels and a few quail and some pekins... But I need more lol! I'm going to sell two of my beautiful del roos I think to help aid in buying some bcm eggs... They are kinda expensive lol I love my quail they are such funny birds! They need to start laying so I can up my numbers! I have so many people asking me for quail or eggs!

Last year I got BCM eggs and some chicks from a guy named Thom Dean in Strafford MO. He has some eggs on ebay from time to time. I just drove down and picked them up. He's less than 30 minutes from me. I know he has good stock. They are from the Jean Wade line.

Yeah I found two people one in Dallas one in Houston who are from Davis and wade lines... They are just slow to get back to me... Its $30/dz.... Eekk lol I could get 4 dz dels for that haha

There is no dount about it. They are pretty birds and very docile too. I made a pretty penny on mine since they were almost to the point of laying when I sold them. I forgot to mention that I added some Showgirls and Silkies too (cough cough) for my kids

Well, I ended up with a White Call, a Gray Call and a "Mystery Color" that I can't identify yet-at least until it dries...

Oh yay! You must post pictures... I have my pekin eggs going on day 4 but I don't see much yet... I'm getting discouraged that they may have gotten too cold during shipment...

Poor babies..they're resting right now and still wet. I'll get some fluffy pictures as soon as they get on their feet and get rockin' and rollin'.
They're so precious.
