They're ADORABLE! They are absorbing their yolks a little slower than I like, so that's why I haven't posted pictures yet. I sure hope their strong enough to make it.
Sound like you are going throuhg just what I did with mine last year. I helped them when they should have been ready but they still had yolks. They laid their in their wet paper towels for 2 days. Finally one got up and running. The 2nd one didn't get up on it's feet for a week. She did scoot to the food and water so we let her be and eventually she was fine.
I have the uncontrolable urge to buy more eggs. I don't need to but I want too. I've been looking at auctions but I can't find and eggs that I want. I don't need to do anything. I'll have quail eggs next week and I am waiting on my wyandottes eggs but I don't know when they are coming. I've already paid for them and I asked for them sometime after valentines day. I bought two goslings this morning. They have not hatched yet and it will be a few months away but I paid for them. What is wrong with me??? I have a 18 eggs in the bator now and I want more. Am I insane?
