Thank you, I adore them
They run this place. Heaven forbid the food bowl even get LOW and she starts fussing for one of us to tend to her needs.
My husband is ridiculous after this little hen-that's his baby.

Lol that's hilarious! I have two del roosters that I'm trying to find homes for but they are my babies too they are obsessed with me when they see me walk outside! I love it, but I've hand feed them too many treats so when I stick my hand out they get a little nippy... Lol

IF is not a word that's allowed on this thread, Sonja...are you new here?

We use the word WHEN. For instance, WHEN Sonja gets her Snowey Calls, we'll all be wanting to see pictures.
See how that works?

So, not a great photo, but this is my drake call duck.

Here's a shot of 3 of the four.

The little white ones each have a dropped wing, which worries me. But they're healthy, otherwise. One has the left wing dropped, the other has the right wing dropped. One of the whites is the "flock" leader, so far. She is the most vocal and is the one that swims in the pond by herself.

That picture is SO cute, gryeyes.
It should be titled, "Call ducks drilling, a study in mud".
The drop wing can be treated if they are still young. Honestly, it's really a cosmetic thing and they can't really fly, but I have a Bantam Mallard hen that we were never able to treat-and she does beautifully.
