I was thinking about it and i thought that i wanted to get some simple ducks to start off with and get used to having them kinda like wha ti did with the RIR then i moved on to my Dels now i'm getting into the OE bantams lol So tomorrow i got get ducks, then on thursday i'm going to get 2dz maran eggs, 1 dz welsummers, 6-10 golden phoenix eggs, and 6 crele OE bantam eggs... thats over 50 eggs lol and to top it off my mother in law is buying herself 4 guineas and she is buying me 2 from the lady also... thats going to be a great drive... All those eggs in the car my 3 yr old daughter, my 6month old son and 6 guineas in the back... ooo an did i mention my mastiff zeus doesn't let me go anywhere without him so i'm sure he will be in the passanger seat with us also.... the traveling farm

lol thanks east... i'm a little nervous but honestly if i get my daughter a drink and some gummie bears and my son can see outside... we are peachy keen!! And zeus has been raised around birds so they don't even interest him much anymore... he knows better mommy gets mad when he even looks at them funny

lol i think most everyone is good with a drink and some gummies! On a trip i love to have sunflower seeds but they are messy so i'll just get me some corn nuts lol

I think just about EVERY time I try to eat corn nuts and drive I get choked. I have no idea what it is, but corn nuts(while SO delicious) present quite a hazard to me when I'm driving.
Plus, they make my hands slide off of the steering wheel.

How far are ya'll having to travel to get the "surprise" ducks and then the guineas and eggs?

I checked on the eggies and the 3 olive eggers are pipped. One is in the wrong end and I see blood. None on the ameraucanas have pipped yet.

House living seems to suit Tiny very well because she is a very happy, friskie duckie tonight

no more goopies on her face and she is preening herself.

I'm on my phone cookign dinner so I can't get a good look at that duckie picture but if you like them and they are what you go for it
