My friend the enabler gave me four of her eggs today to hatch. Two are EE and two are brown egg layers (breed unknown) crossed with a GORGEOUS Silver Laced Polish roo that I gave her last year. This will be the first mutt chickens that I have ever hatched but I just gotta hatch something

ETA: Needless to say that are in the bator

I can tell you that duckluck has some STUNNING birds. I bought a pair of Butterscotch from her and have all intentions of getting eggs from her in the spring. You won't be disappointed, I betcha!
Probably what happened on the auction is that someone put in a higher bid(pre-bid or whatever it's called) and it was higher than the bid you put in.

I am SOOOOOO STINKING EXCITED

!! I went outside to talk to my chickens and give them fresh water and well, spoil them some more. I walked into the coop and I was greeted with this!

It is light green. I put it by a white egg so you could see. One of my EE's laid it but I don't know which one (I only have two). I seen the head roo (GLP) mount Black Beauty (EE) twice last week but I don't know if it is her egg. However, I did place it in the bator with the ones that my enabler friend gave me this morning. I just had to share. Neither one of them have EVER laid. Now I can't wait

I feel your pain i built my incubator last week and got her all turned in ,every thing looks good . The problem came when i called a lady i got some hens from a week ago and asked di she have any eggs i could try to hatch ,so i went this morning and picked up 3 dozen.......... cant wait to see how this come out
