My birds are all mixed so if I want something pure I have to search for eggs. This member is the FIRST one in 3 years I have seen locally.

I like my mixes they are all different in color and appeal

But sometimes its good to have pures (or a least some)

My last hatch of my mixes, I do believe I got ONE pure Ameraucana. I have a wheaten hen and a blue wheaten roo and this chick looks JUST like mama. I am really partial to Speckled though. Gotta get a good pic of her, but here is one.

I am not sure what that one is crossed with. Seems apparent that the mom is a white leghorn, and at the time we had a RIR roo and the blue wheaten ameraucana. SHe is pretty and sweet. She is named after Speckled Hen....

She looks part leghorn but I'm not really sure on the rooster though...
