I know your boy will soon have beautiful silky fur like the Yorkies do. Well, I am sure my little lady has some terrier of some sort in her. She has a scruffy look to her and I am afraid at 4-5 yrs old, she will not be growing out of it! You will probably bust out laughing when you see a picture of my "Mia" she even looked worse when I first got her she was malnourished and had lost most all of her hair. She kinda resembled a hairless dog...but with a little patchy hair here and there and a full beard...yah, pretty pretty

and she was scared to death so tried to bite everyone, except me.

Can anyone tell me how to post a picture onto the thread here? I have tried but can't seem to find out how or figure it out.

I have won two more auctions of eggs, quite by accident. Both from the same seller and both for large Cochins, just different colors.

Hmmmm. I wonder how that happened?

I have a chick in one of the MiniAdvance 'bators from eggs I thought wouldn't hatch because, while my week long house guest was here, I just didn't pay much attention to it (because the 'bator is so efficient, handling temp and humidity for me). One of the eggs cracked and leaked (no development, just egg insides) but got cooked into the turner, so it couldn't turn for a few days! I fixed it 3 days ago, having to do major work to clean the thing and reset the eggs without the turner because it was time for lockdown. But without much hope for the eggs.

And yet there is a chick which has hatched! Amazing.

14 of my 24 eggs (that I accidentally bought) made it to lockdown!

Pretty dern good considering they traveled all the way across the country to get here. Now I just have to wait until Thursday to find out how many hatch.

I hate to say it, but my pesky finger has been taking me to the auction pages again. And if some black silkie eggs show up there (for a good price . . . i have a silkie coop to build) I might accidentally buy some more eggs.

So, I have BEI eggs, Call duck eggs, and Quail eggs heading my way. My little Giant is taking care of some Bantam Salmon Favorelles for me as well as some Serama eggs from my own little hens (due to hatch Saturday).

However, my big cabinet incubator is empty, temp & humidity set waiting for the ones on the way!!! Woohooo....I don't need a cure, I just got a fix!!!!
